Biomedical Informatics and Computational Biology
Overview of Traineeship Program
The Biomedical Informatics and Computational Biology (BICB) Graduate Traineeship Program prepares students to be researchers and leaders in the interdisciplinary areas of computer science, informatics, mathematics, statistics, and the biological and health sciences. Integrated into the trainee program is a research experience driven by co-advisors drawn from the University of Minnesota, Mayo Clinic, IBM, Hormel Institute, and from other institutions.
This two-year graduate traineeship program is open to University of Minnesota Graduate School and Mayo Clinic Graduate School students (Master's or Ph.D.) who are interested in pursuing interdisciplinary work in the areas of biomedical informatics and computational biology.
