Application for Admission

Download and complete the International Application for Bachelor of Science in Health Science.  This application must be submitted along with official transcripts and a $50 (USD) nonrefundable application fee.  Please see section E of the application for instructions to send your official transcripts to UMR.

Health Science Essay

The Application Essay helps us become acquainted with you as a person and a student, apart from courses, grades, test scores, and other objective data. It will also demonstrate your ability to organize your thoughts and to express yourself.
 

Submit a typed essay (approximately 250 to 750 words) addressing one of these options:
Option A: Describe a person or experience that influenced your decision to pursue an education in health sciences.
Option B: Describe the qualities you possess that will help you be successful as a student and a professional in the field of health sciences.

Your essay must be written in English and emailed to Michael Fridgen (frid0014@umn.edu), International Student Coordinator.

Official TOEFL, ACT or SAT Exam Scores

If English is not your native language, take the TOEFL exam and have your scores sent to UMR.  If English is your native language, take either the ACT (plus writing) or SAT and have your scores sent to UMR.

Financial Certification Statement

Download and complete the statement here.  Mail or fax the statement to the address or fax number listed on the form.
