Adult Education / Human Resource Development

The University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR) offers adult education (AdEd) and human resource development (HRD) degree and certificate programs from the Graduate School and from Work, Community, and Family Education, a department of the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD). These programs offer traditional and nontraditional students the opportunity to be taught by University of Minnesota faculty and earn their University of Minnesota degree without having to travel to the Twin Cities.

The HRD program was recently ranked first in the nation in a University of Illinois study.
