Registration
To register for a UNITE class in Rochester, please visit UNITE's
website at www.unite.umn.edu.
- Click on Forms
- On the Forms page, click on UNITE Information Sheet
- Complete the form
- If you are a returning student, click Submit
to send in. Your local site coordinator will confirm when registration
is received.
If you are a new student, you will need to
print the form, complete it, and then return to:

NOTE: In order to facilitate proper delivery of
materials to UNITE sites and to help avoid a late fee, please register
at least TWO WEEKS PRIOR to a given semester.

Setting
Up a U of M E-mail Account
Two steps are needed to access the Institute of Technology (IT)
labs:
- Initiate your U of M e-mail account at http://www.mail.umn.edu
- Set up your IT account at http://www.itlabs.umn.edu

Setting
Up a UNIX Account
To set up a UNIX account, you will need a U of M e-mail account
and an IT labs account. You may connect to these labs in Rochester
from your home or work computers by telnet or by using your IT Labs
username and password with the U of M computers in the Information Commons.

Checking
Out Videotapes
UNITE classes that are not video-streamed are videotaped as a free
service to students. In the event that you are unable to attend
class or if you want to review a class, you may check out the videotape
from the Information Commons.
You may check out videotapes for one week.
Please adhere to the policy of a one-week checkout as a courtesy
to other students. Fines will be assessed if the videotape is not
returned within one week.
Videotapes of classes are kept for two weeks and then recycled.
If you need to make special arrangements for viewing beyond that
