How will I pay for college?

It’s a common question. Almost 70% of University of Minnesota undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid. Financial assistance for college is available from a number of sources including merit-based scholarships, need-based grants, loans, and employment opportunities.

Financial Aid

No matter where you plan to attend college, the first step in the financial aid process is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Seniors, it’s a good idea to get started on your FAFSA early and to complete it by mid-spring, if possible.  Take some time to go through the important resources and links listed below and to the right.
