Vision Statement

IT/ITV Support Services is responsible for information technology leadership, management, and strategic planning at the University of Minnesota Rochester (UMR), by directing the operations, services, and resources that support UMR's missions of education, research, and outreach and its technology requirements.

IT/ITV Support Services provide a diverse array of services to the UMR campus.  This includes development of laptop program for the Bachelor of Sciences in Health Sciences program, user assistance for students, faculty, and staff, network systems, training, ITV and other connections supporting UMR’s academic mission, ITV and classroom technology support, IT security, web site administration and web application development, and classroom and conference scheduling. In addition, IT/ITV Support Services works closely with University of Minnesota Office of Information Technology (UM OIT) and other University of Minnesota technology resources to leverage the IT resources they offer for the benefit of UMR students, faculty, and staff.  IT/ITV Support Services provides oversight for technology planning, policies and standards, security practice and compliance, infrastructure, information, and solutions.
