Prof. John Carlis (Associate Director of Graduate Studies for BICB and Computer Science and Engineering) gave a presentation on BICB at the Bioinformatics Building Bridges Symposium. John's presentation provides an excellent non-technical overview of BICB and the role it plays in bringing two disparate groups (computer scientists and biologists) together and help make the transition from being "aliens" to each other to "colleagues."
